Minneapolis is one of those cities I never considered visiting, but I am glad I did! I booked a
Minneapolis Segway Tour to quickly see the city, since I had to drive another 5 hours to Sioux Falls the same day. A tour from 9.30 AM to 1.30 PM sounded just perfect.
Having never ridden a segway in my life, I was a bit concerned about the sanity of my choice. But based on the reviews on
Tripadvisor and recommendations on the website of the tour operator stating that if an 80 year old grandmother could do it, so could I, I went for it.
The first couple of minutes (well, let's be honest here, a few tens of minutes), I felt I was certainly going to crash into the river and pay for the segway. But then riding/driving it became instinctual.

After the segway tour I did make it to Sioux Falls. This time my AirBnb host lived in a historic district with houses built in 1800's-1900's, some of which had a bit of eerie story:

AirBnb house had this cracked mirror from 1800's |

A house right across my AirBnb was famous for something else... |
